As the spirit of the Vortex parties started to change by going back to less commercial, smaller gatherings, they were blessed with a beautiful, magical venue..

The circle of dreams in Riviersondersand forest was already used hundreds of years ago by travellers in oak wagons seeking a safe comfortable stop zone on their crossings over the country...

Credo Mutwa ,the south African sangoma king, speaks of an long untold and unrecalled history of crop circle all over Africa, he says that traditional people use to gather stones or plant trees in a circle if a” message from the god had appeared in the fields”...Some think of this place as a crop circle site. It is without any doubt a portal and the most perfect venue for a trance gathering.

The Grid
Buried in the ground...Because we all knew that this was the beginning of a long lasting relationship between us and this enchanted forest, we felt guided towards it and responsible for it. The Grid was laid in that spirit of gratitude and peace of mind one feels when he finds home. The place had opened up to us and had let us glimpse how much part of our life it was going to become and how together we were going to organically evolve.

Grid by the 400years old wild fig tree during Dr Emoto water blessing ceremony. Dr Emoto stopped in Cape Town on his around the world water blessing trip. The ceremony took place around a 4oo year’s old wild fig tree standing over Cape Town’s older water source...The wellness centre hosting the event organised a festive cross cultural evening with poetry, singing bowls, traditional African healers, environmental speakers, planetary light workers, an interestingly diverse Cape Town crowed and a Crystal Grid.

36 stones around the tree. Very interesting, very humble man, Dr Emoto has a simple but effective way to make us aware of the incredible healing abilities of water and the influence of the mind upon it.
His water blessing is part of a world Water Blessing, the crystal grid will amplify the frequency of the prayer or mantra we working with as well as interconnect this gathering and what it represent within a bigger energy shield building work, giving it autonomy as well as momentum.

03.08.2010 OZORA Festival Hungary Main Stage Extra dimensional Crystal Grid.

Ozora festival is a very important gathering for the world trance community. A lot of time, effort and attention go into the decor and the light in order to create a sacred temple environment in which the people journey trough time and space by having a truly complete sensorial experience.

Thanks to our collaboration with Carin Dickson – Artescape - and Richard McKenzzie  - Extradimensional space agency - Crystals were incorporated into the energetic structure of the party.

The Grid
55 Stones in the main extra dimensional stage grid

The master number 55 is the atomic number of Caesium, a liquid metal mostly used in atomic clocks. Atomic clocks are the most accurate time and frequency standard known, and are used as primary standards for international time distribution and to control broadcast and global satellite navigation systems. The idea of receiving from and broadcasting to a Higher source is embedded in this number and emphasised by it.
 

The event itself becomes an organic frequency attuning device within which global Unity consciousness is then organically possible.

Earthdance is a well established global gathering linking together a large network of Light workers.

Using the crystals as tools, the event as medium and the tremendous Chi generated by the people as motor, the grid's intent is to plug this gathering into a bigger web of Unity- Consciousness.

The Grid

The venue: Nekkies is a camping resort that has been hosting for years a lot of different kind of parties, from rock to trance festivals...The land has been used and abused and definitely needs some cleansing and regeneration. That is in this state of mind that the Grid was laid in what is to date the biggest Grid so far as it covers 42hectars.

In April 2009, the first Vortex gathering took place at this very beautiful and magical venue. The Crystal grid put in place then, is still here, buried in the ground and is a wonderful canvas to build from in order to focus, accentuate, purify and broadcast our Intent.

The Grid

The idea this year is to mirror, in a way, the grid that was done at Ozora festival by using the same number of stones:55 and by defining the grid structure as the third eye of the party. The stones will be different though as this party has its own strong identity and defined purpose.

There is also a natural sacred geometry occurrence, 1 in 12 at this venue represented by 12 trees in a perfect circle and one in the middle. The grid will pick up on those natural sacred numbers .Every one of the 12 trees will be holding a stone, creating in their totality an invisible energy dome over the dance floor and, at the same time, mirroring the 12 stones in the 12 angels from Ozora.
 

The Grid matrix follows the pattern of a Love and Gratitude water crystal. The stones are laid in a way that projects the energy up the chakras right up to the central circle of Light.

12 Intents, every one of the 12 trees on the Circle of Dreams becomes the vessel holding one intent. The energy from the grid can both spread itself and focus better when it’s got a visual, mathematical, organic vessel such as a centenarian oak. The crystals on the trees symbolising each intent are activated by the main grid and intensify the invisible energy dome over the dance floor.

Another breathtaking location hosting a couple of smaller, intimate parties. Gwaing is a favourite for lots of Capetonians who take this opportunity to spend some time in the garden route. The crystal grid for Visions will be buried underground and stay there. When doing a first grid in a place that has been used and abused by people, it is really important to treat the crystals as offerings to the land, as much as a conveyer and translator of the intention we are working towards. It is like speaking to the Earth in her language.

The Grid
2 Separate crystal lay out,1 at the bottom beach area and on at the top, around the dance floor.

Because of previous incidents, at the bottom beach area due to the fact that this gorgeous venue is open to the public, the grid there will be mainly focused on unblocking, cleansing, protecting, calming, harmonising and redirecting the energies.

The dance floor grid will be generating, interconnecting, restoring, awaken, receiving and sending energies and will be the place to attune with the crystals and interact with them.

In the middle of the dance floor, within the pods of the central tree, where the extremity of the sprinkler system also are. in the day time, the water gets directed trough the crystals, getting charged, before falling on the crowed in a thin crystalline mist.

The Crystal Grid created for the last Vortex has now become a permanent feature.

At the beginning of the weekend, about a hundred of us gathered around the central tree while the grid was being hang and held a very informal but very meaningful ceremony to reactivate the grid and set our intents for the days to come. Everyone was really aware of how important it is to start a party with a coming together of the people (stall holders, regulars, crew..) who make the party.

For the fifth year Africa burn, a radical self expression and self reliance festival, took place in the middle of nowhere, totally removed from civilisation, in the desert of the little Karoo. The natural crystal energy of the area is truly breathtaking, walking around, one can be lucky enough to find Azeztulites and Herkimer diamonds.

The grid was created for harmony with each other, communion with nature and cohesion with self.

The Grid
The idea was to build on to the previous grid placed for EarthDance 2010.
All the stones were buried and are still there, underground, waiting to be reawakened, reprogrammed, recharged and reactivated. This year, the focus is on one area only: the main dance floor. There is already a Merkaba in place in the ground from last year grid. In order to connect and amplify the energies of that very powerful symbol (vehicle of Light), the lay out this year is a  spiral . The Spiral itself is a very powerful energy generating symbol that represents progress, evolution and expansion. It is also what connects what’s below with what’s on top, creating an uninterrupted flow and helping to establish balance and harmony, and ultimately interconnectedness.

To form the spiral are 24 crystals.
24 is a very appropriate number to work with here because it is in a way the numerological equivalent of the symbol of the spiral.
It is 12 and 12; it is Source and destination at once.

Very interesting gathering, second of its kind. It incorporates various electronic music styles into a weekend of surprisingly interesting sounds, meetings and vibes. Equinox appeals to a wide diversity of people but also helps to take some people out of the clubs in to nature to experience an outdoor music festival for the first time. Open minded non judgemental crowed, and wonderfully responsible and friendly youngsters. The venue was magic; to cross the bridge over water to go to the dance floor left a cleansing and recharging  memory.

The Grid
First time the crystals were being used and incorporated into the energetic structure of such a big event. The stones are all between 20 and 30 cm long. They are large stones in order for the people to see them inside the columns and consciously connect with them. More and more people are becoming aware of crystals...more in fact  than you would expect .One way or another ,when they are noticed, they are felt...and somehow they bring a different kind of behaviour , a humbling respect and a certain sense of interconnectedness. Most of these crystals are light respondent, it means the light will be able to pass through them, this is not only extremely beautiful (see Ozora 2010 attachment) but also very powerful energetically because Light is one of the activating elements helping the energy from the crystals to spread easier through space.
